Illinois Quality Program Self-Assessment (IL-QPSA)

The Illinois Quality Program Self-Assessment (IL-QPSA) is an online strengths-based self-assessment tool that allows individual out-of-school time (OST) providers the opportunity to self-assess on their performance based on the Illinois Statewide Afterschool Quality Standards. To learn more and review the Pledge to Quality, click here.

Programs will benefit from using the IL-QPSA by identifying and understanding the factors that support or inhibit top performance, utilizing that information to make data-driven decisions, continuing to grow and improve, and maximizing positive impacts for staff, youth, families, and community peers.

Illinois Quality Program Self-Assessment (IL-QPSA) Support

ACT Now’s online self-assessment system, the IL-QPSA, has recently been experiencing some technical difficulties. If you are a user that should have been sent an email from the IL-QPSA system prompting you to create a login and password or you had requested a new password, please follow the following detailed instructions below:

  • Please note that Google Chrome works best
  • In your browser settings, disable cookies/cache
  • Use this link to access the system: https://ilqpsa.actnowillinois.com/admin/login.html
  • Click ‘Forgot Your Password?’
  • When you try to set the password: does it indicate that it is a ‘good’ or ‘strong’ password?
  • If the password is ‘poor,’ then it will not save. Try setting another password.
  • Then, follow the necessary prompts between the system and your email account

Reach out to Jackie Tichler (Afterschool Resources and Support Specialist, Quality Initiatives) at TichlerJ@actnowillinois.org if you still do not gain access.

To register for the IL-QPSA, click here!

*Please note that once you have registered for the IL-QPSA, you will be placed in either the New Users group or the Returning Users dependent upon your selection*

*Please note that providers from the same organization can be in both cohorts*

IL-QPSA Webinars

For all of ACT Now’s IL-QPSA webinar events, please sign up for the ACT Now Center for Afterschool Learning (ANCAL).

ANCAL is an online learning and training platform that is FREE for all Illinois afterschool and out-of-school time (OST) professionals. If you are already registered for ANCAL, please go to the ‘Events’ tab in the system and register for the event there through GoToWebinar.

In an effort to maintain accurate data, we ask Teen REACH and RPSA grantees to register for the IL-QPSA each year by clicking on this link.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out to Jackie Tichler at TichlerJ@actnowillinois.org.
